For tourists looking for art and entertainment opportunities in Israel, there's no need to search further than some of the nation's most popular cities. Tel Aviv, Haifa, Jerusalem and Herzliya offer museums, theaters, restaurants, nightlife and shopping.
Museums
Tel Aviv, Israel's largest city, is home to the Helena Rubenstein Art Museum, the Ha'aretz Israel Museum and the Tel Aviv Museum of Art. The Dead Sea Scrolls, the Shrine of the Book and many archaeological finds are in the Israel Museum in Jerusalem.
Theaters
The Habima Theatre and the Israel Philharmonic are located in Tel Aviv.
Restaurants
North of Tel Aviv, you'll find popular cafes, bars and restaurants in Herzliya. Sheinkin Street in Tel Aviv is home to trendy restaurants.
Nightlife
If you're looking for lively nighttime attractions, Sheinkin Street is well-known for them.
Shopping
For local handicrafts and chic international shops, Haifa and Tel Aviv's Sheinkin Street are at the top of the list.
