Heading to Cancun for a vacation means sun,
beach and relaxation. The area is geared towards travelers, so there are many opportunities to make the most of your time in
Mexico. It isn't just a place for partying, though. Cancun offers a place to interact with ancient cultures as well as experience the natural beauty of the area.
Chichen Iza
A short day trip from Cancun, these ancient Mayan ruins are breathtaking and well worth the trip. Chichen Iza is largely considered one of the most important ruin locations for the Mayan Empire in the Yucatan and is a UNESCO World Site. The tour typically includes a lunch and can also include a brief stop in a Mayan village. Plan on about a 12-hour round trip day.
