Wows and Woes
Moon Palace Resorts guestroom
The all-inclusive Moon Palace Resort and its Palace Resort brand offers some of the most luxurious and comfortable room packages in the Cancun area. Its oversized rooms, Jacuzzi built for two and private balcony (some with hammocks) gives you plenty of space to make yourself at home.
Navigating this mega-resort's three sections, each with its own personality, can be a challenge. Get the lay of the land by walking the property, or asking for a golf cart tour. Whether you're searching for quiet relaxing time or high-energy entertainment, you'll discover the area that fits your vacation personality.
Insider Tips
Although there's plenty to do at the Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort, take a day to visit Cancun and sample the other Palace resorts. Your all-inclusive Moon Palace Resort wrist band gives you access to the same amenities at the other Palace Resorts. Ask the concierge if there is a shuttle (often complimentary) to the Palace Resorts in Cancun.
Author's Most Memorable Moment
Jack Niclaus signature golf course at Moon Palace in Cancun
After I lounged lazily in my hammock on my balcony, I took time to swing my rented clubs at the Moon Palace's Jack Nicklaus golf course, a deceptively challenging course. When I wandered around the pool area, near the main building, I happily discovered a carnival-like atmosphere, with clowns, balloons and locals selling their ware. Simultaneously, a barefoot couple shared their vows on the beach to a handful of witnesses.
Bottom Line
The all-inclusive Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort is popular with all travelers. There's something for everyone to do from championship golf to the luxury of lounging in the sun.
