Cancun is a
resort city in

romance. There are a number of hotels available in Cancun for all types of travel budgets.

Hotel Casa Maya is a five-star hotel offering a variety of accommodations for visitors to Cancun. There is a swimming pool on-site that features a number of water activities, including aqua aerobics and contests. beach volleyball is also available, along with a hotel Jacuzzi. Hotel Casa Maya also has three restaurants, a snack bar, as well as a bar and lounge. Rooms and suites feature ocean or lagoon views, and high-speed Internet access is widely available on the property. As of July 2009, room rates started at about $150 per night. Suites cost up to about $360 per night.

The Ritz-Carlton, Cancun is part of an international luxury hotel chain. Each room and suite has an ocean view as well as a private balcony or terrace. Hotel Batab
Hotel Batab is an independently-owned choice for budget travelers who do not want to sacrifice conveniences such as air conditioning, hot water and a private bathroom during their visit to Cancun. Rooms also include cable television and a telephone. Hotel Batab amenities include an on-site restaurant serving Mexican, Arabic and American cuisine. Wireless Internet access is available in public areas of the hotel. As of July 2009, room rates ranged from about $50 to $90 per night and included a full American breakfast.
