Monterrey is one of the most dynamic spots in
Mexico. Located beside the Sierra Madre Oriental mountain range in Mexico's northeast desert area, Monterrey is a vibrant business and industrial center. There are several colleges and universities in Monterrey, including Monterrey Technological Institute, sometimes called "the MIT of Mexico."
