Cozumel, an island off
Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula, is a popular tourist destination for its
beaches, scuba diving and other water-related activities. Though many tourists come to Cozumel only as a stopping point on a cruise, the island also offers good accommodation for those wishing to spend more time on the island. Beyond its tourist markets and dive shops, Cozumel has much to offer visitors and great hotels for them to stay in.

Casita de Maya is a boutique hotel located near the Cozumel International Airport. The hotel offers only four rooms, each themed after one of the four elements. The Earth room features a Queen bed and walk-in shower. The two twin beds in the Sun room make it a good place for children. The Wind room is a larger room with a Queen bed while the Ocean room has a King bed with a private terrace area. Each room is also equipped with Internet and satellite television. The hotel is conveniently located 15 minutes to the center of downtown by foot. An average night costs $72.

Villa Las Anclas is a hotel that offers suites for people looking for more room in their accommodation. For those looking for an all-inclusive, luxury resort, Cozumel Palace is your best choice. Cozumel Palace offers 175 rooms that offer jacuzzi and private balconies.
