Cabo Azul Resort & Spa Review

Cabo Azul's Amazing Pool
Cabo Azul's Amazing Pool
The Cabo Azul resort and Spa is luxury and elegance at its best. Created by acclaimed interior designer Dodd Michaels, this resort is both primitive and chic, incorporating the best of Mexico while bringing an international flair to each villa. Outside, the decor is just as unique as the large villas, making The Cabo Azul Resort a top travel destination.
Wows and Woes

The individually designed villas are large and inspiring. There is nothing generic about this hotel. Everything is one of a kind.

When it comes to Mexico, this is definitely one of the higher priced resorts around, starting around $400 per night.

Insider Tips

Cabo Azul offers multiple vacation packages which include $100 food allowances for its eateries. The restaurants serve fresh, original dishes.

Author's Most Memorable Moment

I have spent many nights in lousy Mexican resorts that claim to be five-star hotels, but The Cabo Azul lives up to its reputation. I spent the day at the infinity pool and couldn't bring myself to get out until sunset. At night, the pool turned into a fire storm when performers showed up to do Fire Dancing out in the open. It was exotic and intoxicating. I was impressed.

Bottom Line

This resort may be pricey, but is worth every penny as it is breathtaking, relaxing and heavenly.
