Adventura Spa Palace Review

Mexico's Caribbean is full of beauty.
Mexico's Caribbean is full of beauty.
As the name suggest, Aventura is not only an all-inclusive resort but also a luxurious spa. Of its 777 rooms, 36 are executive suites and 27 are two-bedroom presidential suites. Rooms look onto the sea or onto the gardens; guests who have a preference should specify what they want when booking. All rooms have balconies and double Jacuzzis.

All rooms at Aventura are decorated in whites, creams and dark woods with white walls adorned with local art. Rooms have minibars, satellite televisions and king-size beds.
Wows and Woes

The resort is a 50-minute drive from Cancun's airport. Its remote location gives Aventura the peaceful tropical paradise ambiance, but those who want to taste Cancun's nightlife might find the hotel a bit out of the way.

Aventura can arrange to pick up and drop off guests at the airport for about $45. This is a good option for guests who don't want to rent a car. For the best deal when staying at Aventura, guests should book their flight and hotel stay together as a package deal; this can also be done online via the Aventura Spa website.

Most Memorable Moment

Aventura offers seven eateries and a juice bar with Italian, Californian, Asian and Mediterranean fare. Some restaurants, such as Aventura's La Huerta and La Trattoria, have a dress code and only serve dinner. Reservations are recommended.

Bottom Line

The property and resort facilities are truly overwhelming and luxurious at Aventura, and it's clear that this slice of Caribbean paradise is worth the cost.
