Ritz Acapulco
For a breezy, beautiful Mexican getaway, try a stay at The Ritz in Acapulco. Featuring an all-inclusive program that covers accommodations, food, drink and activities, The Ritz offers service and a great location that sets it apart from the rest. The grounds feature four restaurants, three bars, pool, paddle pool for kids, theater and
beach activities.
Wows and Woes
Wows: The private beach is beautiful and perfect for everyone. Unlike some Mexican beaches, you can swim here, with no undertow and no dangerous rocks.
Woes: The rooms are clean, but very basic and sparsely furnished.
Insider Tips
Book a room on the 12th floor or higher for spectacular ocean views and request the taller of the two towers because it is newer.
Author's Most Memorable Moment
My most memorable moment was walking on the stretch of the white sand, private beach. It is postcard-perfect and has the beautiful, calm water you dream about while at your desk back home.
Bottom Line
If you like an all-inclusive vacation and can live without frills, The Ritz is a good vacation choice.
