Rotterdam has several Thai restaurants
Rotterdam is famed for its impressive postmodern architecture and long history as one of the world's greatest trading nexus. It continues to boast the largest port in all of
Europe, handling exports and imports from all across the globe. One of Rotterdam's more recent imports has been Thai cuisine, which can now be found in several restaurants scattered throughout the city.
Chili Time
This trendy diner in the old Kralingen offers traditional Thai cuisine in a bright, warm environment thanks to a wall of windows fronting a dining room decked out in muted color tones The menu changes daily and features a selection of three-course meals including soups, salads, noodle and rice dishes served with chicken, fish, beef, pork, duck or shrimp. Among the options are fried shrimp cakes with plum sauce for a starter and the Kaeng Pad (red curry with coconut and mild chili sauce) for an entree. Keeping pace with its chic interior, Chili Time also offers Wi-Fi and a sizable wine list.

De Kleine Ondeugd
This tiny Thai eatery consists of a small dining area and a modest menu is listed on a chalkboard and changes daily. A blend of traditional and westernized Thai meals are served here, from spicy seafood and vegetable dishes to pork sate and Pad Thai. When busy, the restaurant can get quite crowded, although outdoor patio seating is available during summer months. The restaurant serves dinner only.
