North London Tourism

North London is not one of the most popular areas in the city, but the London suburbs are full of many tourist attractions.
Alexandra Palace

Alexandra Palace is a former royal palace that now is home to one of London's most well-known indoor ice rinks. It also has a venue inside that hosts many popular acts, such as The Darkness and Elton John, as well as events, including The MTV European Music Awards.

Highgate Cemetery

Highgate Cemetery is London's most famous cemetery. The private cemetery opened in 1839 and is where historical figure Karl Marx is buried. His tomb is listed as a historical building in England.

Kenwood House

The Kenwood House was opened to the public in 1925 by Edward Cecil Guinness. The creator of the famous beer opened his private collection of art and furniture to visitors. Today there is an exhibit dedicated to his life as a brewer.

Hampstead Heath

Hampstead Heath is one of the oldest parks in London. The large park is full of ponds, woodlands, athletic trails and play equipment.

Arsenal Stadium

Arsenal, North London's Premier football club is one of the most popular attractions in the area. Tours of the stadium are available for a small fee. If you are interested in catching a game, tickets are available for some matches, but they often sell out for games against teams such as Manchester United and Liverpool.
