beaches, festivals and great-tasting pizza. All of this sits between a sleeping Mount Vesuvius and a crystal-blue Mediterranean Sea. If you're thinking about visiting Naples, you can travel through this city via bus, tram, train, ferry or scooter.
Location
Naples is Campania's capital and is a city that's situated along the southwestern coast of Italy.
Temperature
The temperature in Naples averages between 38 and 54 degrees F in the winter and between 64 and 85 degrees F in the summer.
Museums
In Naples, you will find the Archaeological Museum, the Filangieri Museum, the Napolitan National Gallery and the San Martin National Museum, all exhibiting paintings and artifacts.

Castles from the 12th and 13th centuries can be seen in Naples.
