Botticelli Italian Restaurant is less than a mile from St. Audouen's Church. The menu begins with a dozen appetizers, such as the crostini al prosciutto, house-baked bread topped with fresh mozzarella and prosciutto di Parma ham. The restaurant serves a variety of pasta dishes, including gnocchi with porcini mushrooms and meat lasagna. For dessert, try the gelatto pizza with fruit-flavored ice creams and fresh fruit. Founded in 1999, Dunne & Crescenzi is less than a mile from St. Stephen's Green. At breakfast, the restaurant offers a variety of options to begin the day like the toast with prosciutto di Parma ham. For dinner, entrees include polenta, seafood risotto, platters of Italian meats and cheeses, Tuscan sausage and grilled panini sandwiches. Among the house-made desserts is the torta di Capri, a rich cake made from chocolate and almonds. The wine list features more than 150 Italian vintages available by the bottle. Dunne & Crescenzi is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, except for Sundays when the restaurant is closed. Reservations are recommended. The dress code is business casual.

Toscana Restaurant
Toscana Restaurant operates two establishments in Dublin; its City Centre location is located directly across from Dublin Castle. Among the dinner entrees is the pollo alla Milanese, a breaded chicken breast wrapped around mozzarella, garlic and prosciutto ham and topped with tomato sauce. Meat lovers may opt for bistecca di manzo, a 10-oz. sirloin steak topped with garlic butter, mushrooms or peppercorn sauce. A dessert feature, the doppia torta di cioccolato, is an Italian spongecake served between chocolate candy shells.
