Rimini is a little known gem in eastern Italy, with roots dating back to 200 BC
The ancient city of Rimini, Italy, is located on the eastern shore of the country ⎯ south of Venice and Ravenna. Its attractions mimic the Gothic style of architecture that can be found throughout the country, and Hotel Savina offers modern amenities in a peaceful, but accessible area of the city.
Location
Visitors arriving by car, train or by air can easily reach Hotel Savina, which is located in the Marina Centro area of Rimini. Rimini is a very walkable city, but buses as well as taxis are available for a fee. The hotel conveniently lies just a few blocks from the beach, one of the area's must-see attractions.
Architecture
Hotel Savina does not resemble a lavish Italian cathedral by any means; rather its style reflects something more along the lines of a typical residential apartment building. The modest façade features balconies overlooking a quiet, tree-lined neighborhood.
Rooms
Several room sizes are available to accommodate almost any group of people ranging from singles to quadruples. All rooms include private bathrooms, televisions, hairdryers, and other standard features. Pets are allowed but some restrictions may apply.
Price
The cost to stay at Hotel Savina largely depends on your desired travel dates. According to their website, rooms start at 34 Euros (about $48 U.S. dollars); however, prices increase throughout the summer months.
Amenities and Extras
Given the reasonable nightly rate, the amenities at Hotel Savina are generous: access to laundry, business services, and free wireless Internet in addition to a Mediterranean restaurant and bar. Children stay for free or at a reduced rate.
