About Familia Hotel in Paris
The Familia Hotel is a converted mansion built in the late 19th century. Located in the famous Latin Quarter of Paris, France, the Hotel Familia is family-owned and operated by Eric and Sylvie Gaucheron. It boasts a government rating of two stars.
Renovations

The last renovation of the Familia Hotel was completed in 2008. The refurbishment consisted of period interior decoration, including a stone entrance, wall frescoes and a living room-style reception hall.

Accommodations

The Familia Hotel consists of 30 guest rooms. Each room features hand-painted murals representing historical monuments in Paris. All rooms have satellite TV, a complete bathroom with a shower or bath, hairdryer, mini-bar and telephone.

Dining

The Familia Hotel offers a free continental breakfast without an on-site restaurant. However, because the hotel is centrally located in Paris, many dining establishments are within walking distance.

Attractions

Famous monuments such as Notre Dame, The Louvre Museum, Sorbonne University and the Pantheon are also a short walk from the hotel. A metro stop nearby runs directly to the Eiffel Tower.

Rates

As of September 2009, rates at the Familia Hotel start at 90 euros and top out at 194 euros. The rates are dependent on room size, bed size and type of bathroom (shower or bath).
