Berlin is a city steeped in history, art and culture. Visiting Berlin between the months of May and September make for ideal touristic conditions. The summer months allow for comfortable weather, moderate rain and plenty of sunshine. Though the summer months make Berlin more crowded with tourists and other visitors, it is large enough to accommodate the influx. Berlin in the summertime is a very relaxed place--it moves at a slower speed not often seen in major urban centers.
Average Temperature
From the months of May through September, Berlin's average temperatures range from a high of 66 to 75 F and a low of 46 to 54 F.
Unter den Linden
The most famous street in Berlin, Unter den Linden, known for its shopping and restaurants, is lined with trees that are in full bloom during the summer.
Cafes
Outdoor cafes can be found everywhere in Berlin throughout the summer months.
Christopher Street Day
Every year, held on the last weekend of July in Berlin and other cities, is Christopher Street Day, one of Europe's largest gay-pride events.
Tourism
Over 6 million people visit Berlin each year.
