The process for getting a Honduras passport is simple and requires little more than the correct documentation for approval and a form to complete.

Step 1
Gather the documents required. This includes a certificate of birth and/or proof of identification. Proof of citizenship is also necessary. In order to obtain a Hondouran passport, you have to be a citizen of Honduras by birth or marriage. A Honduras birth certificate can be used as proof of citizenship as can a marriage certificate.
Step 2
Apply for the passport by filling the application form. This can be downloaded from the Honduras embassy site online or taken from any Honduran consulate or embassy.
Step 3
The application form must be filled in its entirety and all information verified by the proper documentation. Any discrepancies and/or gaps will cause the application for the passport to be rejected.
Step 4
Take the application form, all the required documents and the fee and submit to the Honduran passport office or embassy.
Step 5
Check with the passport office in two weeks. If accepted you should get the passport within a couple of weeks and if rejected the reason of denial will be given. Fulfill the requirements and resubmit a new application and fees as applicable.
