Visit your local library and borrow Spanish audio lessons on tape or CD. You can listen to them while you are in your car or doing things around your house. The CD or tape may also come with an easy-to-read, follow-along book.
Step 2
Use the Spanish lessons on the eLanguageSchool.net website (see Resources). This is a useful resource for beginners as the website offers an introduction to the Spanish alphabet and the pronunciation of the letters of the alphabet. The website also offers numerous grammar lessons within the Grammar Course and Grammar Lessons by Topic links.
Step 3
Go to the Spanish portion of the Speak7 website (see Resources). Speak7 offers Spanish lessons on specific parts of the language, such as nouns, tenses and numbers. The lessons are broken into two categories, Spanish grammar and Spanish vocabulary.
Step 4
Learn Spanish by using the Spanicity website (see Resources). Spanicity specializes in free audio Spanish lessons. Start by using the Basic of the Spanish Language links, such as Alphabet, and clicking on the numerous audio links found throughout the lessons. Eventually, you will be able to move on to the beginner, intermediate and advanced lessons.
Step 5
Log onto the 123TeachMe homepage (see Resources). Scroll down until you find the Free Online Spanish Courses heading. Then, click the links found to the right of Basic Spanish. Start with the Beginner link for a page full of different online Spanish lessons. Go through each of these lessons, and then go back to the homepage and continue with the Intermediate lessons.
Step 6
Contact your local chamber of commerce regarding a free adult education Spanish class in your area. The chamber of commerce may even be promoting or sponsoring these free Spanish classes.
