Interesting Things to Do in Costa Rica

Costa Rica is a beautiful country on Central America that sees a great number of tourists every year. It is next to Nicaragua and Panama, with borders on the east and west/south of ocean: the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean. Its name translates in Spanish to "Rich Coast." There are several fun activities to do and things to see while visiting this small country.
Zip-lining Through the Forest

Zip-lining is a popular activity in Costa Rica. It is a system of cables (usually metal) and pulleys that attach to a rider with a harness. The rider then "zip lines" from platform to platform, as gravity and the cable carry them down to the next platform. It is a great way to see the natural rainforest of Costa Rica. The platforms are usually several feet up into the air, so this is not recommended for those who are afraid of heights.
