Days Inn Hotel New York Reviews

This budget-friendly hotel in New York is located just a short walk from the subway station and a short ride into the heart of Manhattan. The rooms were small, but the king-size bed was large and comfortable. There is a small parking lot with limited free parking for guests with cars.
Wows and Woes

The rooms were clean and neat. The king-sized bed was plush and comfortable to sleep on. There were no sound issues even though the hotel is located next to the subway.
The customer service of the front desk person left much to be desired. The continental breakfast didn't offer much variety and wasn't often very fresh. The exercise room had outdated equipment and a television that did not work.

Insider Tips

The free parking is truly limited. The lot is very small. The M train that is next to the hotel has different routes on the weekends, so check the schedule before you leave. The stores around the hotel don't stay open as late as some of the places in Manhattan. If you're out late, stop and pick up dinner or snacks before heading back.

Author's Most Memorable Moment

After dragging my luggage around the streets of New York and through the subway, I was relieved but wary to find my hotel because I didn't know what to expect. Once I checked in, I went upstairs to my room and was pleasantly surprised at the large, comfortable bed and the lack of noise from the subway station.

Bottom Line

Hotels in New York can be expensive. This hotel offers basic amenities for a reasonable price. It's a good place to rest after a day of exploring the city.
