Trinidad, located in the southern

Culture
Trinidad's culture is one that places emphasis on having fun and enjoying life. Trinidad celebrates many festivals, including the Muslim festival of Eid-ul-Fitr, the Hindu festival of Divali and Christian festivals such as Christmas.
Carnival
Trinidad hosts one of the world's most remarkable Carnival celebrations. These festivities, held for two days before Ash Wednesday, feature parades, dancing, costumes and music.
Eco-Tourism
Trinidad features excellent eco-tourism opportunities. With more than 450 species, it is home to the most diverse bird population in the Caribbean. The island is also home to more than 100 species of mammals as well as dozens of reptiles and amphibians.
Fishing
Surrounded by aqua Caribbean waters, Trinidad offers world-class opportunities for fishing. Tarpon, tuna and shark can be caught year round. Sailfish, dolphin, marlin and many other species can also be captured depending on the season.
Getting Here
Trinidad can be reached by boat or plane. Piarco International Airport is serviced by many major United States cities, including Miami, New York, Atlanta and Houston.
