Explore Rum Point

Rum Point, located 45 minutes from George Town on the northern coast of Grand Cayman, provides vacationers with the chance to escape the crowds of the more popular Seven Mile Beach area. Rum Point can be crowded on days that cruise ships arrive, but at other times the crowds are smaller. Here you can relax in a lounger or hammock, catch some sun, go wind surfing or parasailing, rent a jet ski or swim in the sparkling water. The Wreck Bar is a popular place to grab a snack or drink without straying too far from the beach.

Swim With the Stingrays

Animal lovers can swim with the stingrays at Stingray City. This hands-on adventure allows you to snorkel with live stingrays, feed them from your hand and view the stunning coral reefs they call home. You will be taken by boat to three different snorkeling areas, including Stingray City, the Barrier Reef and the Coral Gardens. The Stingray City stop works even for those who cannot swim, because the sandbar where the stingrays happily swim with humans is just 3 feet deep.

Dive in a Submarine

If you prefer not to swim, consider booking a tour with the Atlantis Submarine Adventure. You will be amazed at the sea life you can see below the crystal clear waters off the coast of the Cayman Islands. Dive to depths of 100 feet in the Atlantis XI Submarine, explore the underwater world at night with the Atlantis by Night tour or explore the shallow reefs on the Seaworld Observatory glass bottom boat.
