Review of Debbie's Caribbean Resort

There are a lot of Websites around that offer travel reviews and resort information, but none are quite as comprehensive as Debbie's Caribbean Resort. The Website began with personal reviews and has expanded to review--and sort--travelers' opinions of hotels beyond the Caribbean to less common destinations like Nicaragua and San Andres. In addition to reviews, Debbie also includes destination information and links for each location. There is also a forum for travelers to exchange specific questions and answers.
Wows and Woes

Every little detail is taken into consideration on Debbie's Caribbean Resort pages, including travel for those with disabilities, family vacation advice, spa trips, scuba diving specifics and even a glossary of Spanish phrases.

Despite thorough information and opinions on islands and resorts, the only actual booking information on most pages is standard Google ads. It would be better to have a link to the resort next to the review so you could get more information.

Insider Tips

Even though you can't find it next to the reviews, there is a menu on top called "Information" that has links to resorts, cruise lines, hotels and tour companies. There is also a link in that menu to Caribbean weddings which has very specific information. The Website has reviews from people all over the world, and it still displays reviews that go back to 2002.

Author's Most Memorable Moment

I have been referring to Debbie's Caribbean Resort for years and have picked up some great information about locations and hotels. It was one of the first places I read about Turks and Caicos as a new vacation area. Nearly a decade and three trips later, it has become one of my favorite locations.

Bottom Line

Debbie's Caribbean Resort Reviews Website offers a wide range of detailed information on specific destinations and resorts, but it's not a place to book travel.
