About Norwegian Cruise Line to Bermuda
Norwegian Cruise Lines has three ships that sail to Bermuda. Ports of departure and re-entry include
Boston,
Philadelphia, and
New York. Each of the three
cruises lasts seven days. As of August 2009, Norwegian Cruise Lines was the only cruise line that offers three full days at port, giving travelers plenty of time to tour, shop and play on land. Norwegian Cruise Lines also offers tour assistance at each port of call.
Norwegian Dawn
The Norwegian Dawn is a 965-foot cruise ship that offers a seven-day cruise to King's Wharf, Bermuda, from New York. It is a Sunday-to-Sunday trip. Days spent at the port of call are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The Norwegian Dawn has nine bars, 12 restaurants, a casino, fitness center and spa, a Broadway-type theater and three pools. The ship also features two three-bedroom villas with a private sundeck and garden. There also are luxury suites and penthouses available in addition to standard staterooms.
Norwegian Spirit
The Norwegian Spirit cruise ship offers a seven-day cruise to King's Wharf, Bermuda, from Boston. It is a Friday-to-Friday excursion with Sunday, Monday and Tuesday spent at the port of call. The Norwegian Spirit has 10 bars, 11 restaurants, a swimming pool, casino, fitness center and spa. According to Norwegian Cruise Lines, there are about 600 ocean-view staterooms, most with private balconies, as well as more than 300 family-friendly connecting staterooms and suites.
Norwegian Majesty
The Norwegian Majesty cruise ship offers a seven-day cruise to St. George's, Bermuda, from Philadelphia. It is a Saturday-to-Saturday cruise. Days spend at the port of call are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The Norwegian Majesty has nine bars and six international-cuisine restaurants, a casino, theater, three swimming pools and hot tubs. The Norwegian Majesty offers garden villas, courtyard villas, suites, penthouses and romance suites in addition to the standard staterooms.
Freestyle Cruising
Norwegian Cruise Lines offers Freestyle Cruising on all its cruises, including those sailing to Bermuda, meaning there are no designated times for dining or pre-arranged seating charts at meals. The dress code has been relaxed, so you can leave the evening gown at home. Some on-board activities are scheduled. However, passengers are free to enjoy all the amenities that the ships have to offer without watching the clock.
What Is and Is Not Included
The cruise price to Bermuda includes your room or villa, three meals per day, on-board entertainment and on-board activities. There are service fees, government taxes and fees that are not included in the cruise price. Alcoholic drinks and soda, beauty salon, shore tours, spa treatments, gift shops, professional photos and Internet access also are not included in the price of the cruise. So be sure to bring extra money to make the most of your cruise and land activities.
