Jasper National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is one of the largest natural parks in Canada. Visitors come for the photo opportunities, especially on Mount Edith Cavell and its surrounding valleys, as well as the many outdoor sports. Hiking, skiing, wildlife viewing and kayaking are all popular in the park, as are backpacking and off-trail camping. There are several scenic drives inside the park, including Icefields Parkway, which take visitors through falls, ice-capped mountains and stunning rivers.

Maligne Canyon Restaurant and Gift Shop

Shop, eat and explore all in one place. Maligne Canyon has one of the largest collections of Inuit (Eskimo) and Native Indian art, including stone carvings and silkscreen paintings. Much of the art is up for sale, with prices ranging from hundreds to thousands of dollars. Visitors can also enjoy full meals before heading out for a self-guided tour of Maligne Canyon and River, which runs just steps away from the restaurant and has a few viewpoints along the way.
