A suburb of Vancouver, Richmond, British Columbia, is home to the Richmond Olympic Oval, the site of speed-skating for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. The town also features a variety of attractions like the Richmond Art Gallery and the Gateway Theater, a venue for live performances. Sun Sui Wah Seafood Restaurant
Sun Sui Wah Seafood Restaurant is near the Aberdeen Centre. The restaurant is family owned and operated and launched in 1990. Dim sum is one of its many specialties and is served with a choice of Chinese teas.
The restaurant is also known for its live fish, including geoduck, dungeness crab, lobster, prawns, rock cod, scallops, oysters and Alaskan king crab as well as more exotic seafood selections like potato eel. The whole roasted squab is another specialty of the house.

No. 9 Restaurant
The No. 9 Restaurant is near the Gateway Theater and the Richmond Art Gallery, a modern art museum with many works from Richmond and British Columbia. The menu is extensive and features 26 varieties of congee, 57 types of noodle soup, 62 rice dishes and 27 choices of lo mein. Additionally, 42 specialty dinners are available like lemon chicken, honey garlic ribs, salt and pepper beef and prawns with cashews.
Desserts include the No. 9 Special pudding made from milk, eggs and ginger. The restaurant also serves a variety of fruit smoothies with tapioca bubbles to accompany the meal or as a dessert.
The No. Restaurant is open 24 hours per day every day of the year. Reservations are recommended for dinner. The atmosphere is casual.

Kirin Restaurant
Kirin Restaurant operates five restaurants in the Vancouver area. The Richmond location is only 2 kilometers from the Richmond Olympic Oval. The restaurant is known for its family-style menus. One popular dinner serves four and includes a meat platter, snake and fish soup, live crab with ginger and green onions, marinated chicken, the sauteed whole fish of the day with Chinese vegetables, pan-fried prawns, steamed rice and the house-made dessert specialty of the day.
