Canada is such beautiful country, there are numerous places to visit, but the three top-ranking places are Prince Edward Island, Ottawa (the capital of Canada) and Niagara Falls. Canada is a playground for tourists because of the breathtaking sites and the abundance of activity that it offers.
Prince Edward Island
Beautifully landscaped and lying near the Gulf of St. Lawrence, Prince Edward Island is nestled among miles of sand. Family activities are plentiful here. The Prince Edward Island Museum and Heritage Foundation take you through a shipbuilding museum that interests many curious tourists. The Prince Edward Island National Park was a hot spot for vacationing visitors in the 19th century. Readers in your group may enjoy the Anne of Green Gables Museum.
Ottawa
Ottawa, the capital of Canada, should be on everyone's list of places to visit. The Rideau Canal is a National Historic Canal. Gatineau Park is one-of-kind: a federal park, but not a national park. Gatineau Park has many hiking, camping and picnicking areas. This is a popular cycling park because of its trails and challenging routes.
Niagara Falls
A popular place for weddings, the beauty of Niagara Falls attracts thousands upon thousands of visitors each year. Known as the Honeymoon Capital of the World, people come from far and near to see the falls. Niagara Falls has numerous attractions and activities for every member of your household. Marineland and The Maid of the Mist will keep you busy, but there is also a main street of shops and museums to visit. Niagara Falls boasts lovely landscaping, casinos, helicopter rides and more.
