Canada offers the traveler a country rich in cultural and geographical diversity. Visitors can spend a week or several months uncovering this rich heritage. For a short-term stay,
United States residents only need to present a passport. However, if you will be visiting Canada for more than six months you must apply for a Canadian visa. In addition, if you will be attending school or working in Canada, a visa is required regardless of how long you will be staying in the country.
