The YMCA of Canberra is an approved childcare provider that has several programs available to you. The YMCA early learning program is open to children between the ages of six weeks and 6 years old. The service is offered from 8 in the morning until 6 at night, and the program satisfies the new ACT Childcare Services Standards. In addition to the early learning program, YMCA also offers educational gymnastics and playschool.

Northside Community Service

Northside Community Service offers approved daycare options for kids in Canberra. It has long-term day care options at all of its centers and "casual" (short notice) daycare options at the Civic and Majura locations. In total, it has four locations, with the other two at Treehouse and Harrison. It accepts children from birth until age 8 at all of its locations.
