How to Make iPod Games Work
The iPod Nano and iPod Classic both come automatically with three games (Klondike, Maze and Vortex). More games are available for purchase on Apple iTunes for varying prices starting at $0.99 as of 2009. Games are compatible with iPod Nano (3rd generation and newer), iPod Classic and iPod (5th generation and newer). Once you buy a game from the iTunes Store, you just have to sync it to your iPod and then play. Games are located under the "Extras" menu on the iPod.
Instructions
Difficulty: Easy
Step 1
Open iTunes and make sure your iPod is connected to the computer.
Click on "iTunes Store," which is under the "Store" menu along the lefthand side of iTunes.
Click on "iPod Games," which is on the main iTunes window, along the lefthand side under the "iTunes STORE" menu. This will open a window showing which games are available for purchase.
Click on the game you would like to purchase. This window will show you the price, system requirements, game notes and ratings of the chosen game.
Click "Buy Game" in the center of the main window. This will open a sign in dialog box. You can make an iTunes store account or log in with your current one and finish the transaction.
Open iTunes and click on the name of your iPod under the "Devices" menu on the lefthand side. "BoomPod" is the name of the iPod in the example shown.
Click on the "Games" tab on the top of the main window. This will open a list of your games.
Step 8
Highlight the game(s) you want and check the "Sync games" box.
