Destination Wedding Fiji
Plan your destination wedding on one of the exotic islands of Fiji. Available locations include Turtle Island, Qamea Island and Navini
resort in the Mamanuca Islands. Plan to arrive in Fiji at least three days before the ceremony so you can apply for your marriage license. Make sure to bring your birth certificate or a notarized copy, your passport, divorce decrees or death certificates, if applicable, and documented paternal consent if you're not yet 21.
Turtle Island
Plan your destination wedding on Turtle Island and escape to your own private slice of heaven--well almost. You'll share the island with 14 other couples and a staff that is dedicated to making your wedding and Fiji vacation filled with moments you'll never forget. The accommodation packages are all inclusive with activities such as horseback riding and picnics on the beach, hiking through the rain forest, snorkeling, scuba diving and other water activities. The Grand Beach Wedding package includes a traditional, romantic Fijian ceremony on the beaches of the blue lagoon at sunset. A Methodist minister officiates, complemented by the voices of a Fijian choir. Fijian tradition continues after the wedding with an ancient Kava ceremony to honor the bride and groom. A wedding feast, wedding cake, champagne and both a wedding DVD and picture CD is included as part of your wedding package. Turtle Island hosts only one wedding each week, so book yours well in advance.
Qamea Island
The Qamea Resort and Spa is located on Qamea, one of Fiji's northern islands and offers all inclusive accommodations and wedding packages tailored to your specific requests. You can choose from private beachfront bures, or cottages, or from one of two secluded villas. The two bedroom villa is one of a kind, so book ahead for this one. Qamea Resort wedding packages range from a simple, private ceremony on the beach with flowers and a champagne dinner, to a traditional Fijian wedding with warrior escorts and Tapa costumes. Resort wedding specialists are available for customized events; they will help you design the wedding of your dreams.
Navini Resort
One of the resorts offering destination weddings in the Mamanuca Islands in Fiji is Navini Resort. This small resort offers 10 beachfront bures that can accommodate from three to five people each. You can explore the coral reef sanctuary or take a 10-minute walk around the perimeter of the island. Navini resort staff will help arrange your wedding, either on the beach or under the palms. Wedding packages include your choice of officiate, Fijian attendants and a wedding dinner.
