How to Get AOL Radio on iPod Touch
The iPod Touch can play music and videos just as a regular iPod can. In addition, the Touch can connect to the Internet and install thousands of applications from the iTunes App Store. One of these applications is AOL Radio, a popular music application from AOL. AOL Radio lets you listen to any Internet radio station you have an address for, as well as certain local FM and AM stations. You can install AOL Radio on your iPod Touch in just a few seconds.
Instructions
Difficulty: Easy
Step 1
Open iTunes. You can do this by double clicking the "iTunes" icon on your desktop.
Step 2
Click on the "iTunes Store" icon from the left side of the iTunes window. The iTunes Music Store will load.
Step 3
Type "AOL Radio" into the search box in the upper right corner of iTunes that reads "Search iTunes Music Store." Hit "Enter" to search the iTunes Store for AOL Radio.
Step 4
Click on the "Get App" button next to the "AOL Radio" listing in the search results. You will be prompted to sign into your iTunes Store account if you haven't already. Once you sign in, the App will be downloaded to your computer.
Step 5
Sync your iPod Touch with your computer. Connect one end of the USB link cable to your iPod and the other to a free USB port on your computer. Unless you have turned off the auto sync feature, iTunes will automatically sync your iPod Touch and AOL Radio will be installed on your iPod Touch. To manually sync your device, go to File on the iTunes menu and select "Sync iPod." Once the sync is complete you can access AOL Radio by tapping on its icon on your iPod Touch's menu.
