Located in the Okayama Prefecture of Chugoku in Japan, the city of Kurashiki is home to more than a half million people. The city is popular amongst tourist and historians looking to get a glimpse of what life was like during the 17th century, when the city was under Tokugawa rule. Once a bustling farm town, the city is now a historic epicenter filled with incredible museums, displays of architecture, restaurants, and--of course--hotels.
