Bali Hotel Mirage Review

Grand Mirage Resort in Bali
Grand Mirage Resort in Bali
There is no other place on Earth where the people welcome their guests with such warmth and care than Indonesia and The Grand Mirage Hotel in Bali has adapted its people's style. The hotel is situated at the stunning Nusa Dua beach and provides an environment of plush landscape and tropical beauty unmatched by most resorts. Witness a sunset here and you'll be hard pressed to see another more amazing sight.
Wows and Woes

Luxury at it's best, each room in this hotel has a view of a natural wonder, whether it be the ocean or the lagoon within the hotel.

Although not expensive by international standards, their dining is a bit high priced for Balinese standards.

Insider Tips

Leave a small tip for your server at any Balinese restaurant you eat at and the appreciation and smiles you receive in return will last you a lifetime.

Author's Most Memorable Moment

The hotel provides a service called Thalasso therapy, using the natural elements of the sea to give a spa treatment. I splurged and had a sea mineral detox massage for a whopping $50 US. I argued with myself for an hour for spending so much (a massage from a beach vendor can be as cheap as $10 US). The experience was life changing to the point that I booked another for the next day.

Bottom Line

The resort has rates as low as $120 US, pricey perhaps for Bali, but unbelievably worth it for the luxury and care you will receive from the staff.
