Its unique setting at the foot of the striking Mt. Sopris makes it a welcome town for those who want to experience less glitz while still having access to the town of Aspen.
Down the valley farther still is the famous Glenwood Springs. This is a great town to visit if you are heading to the Roaring Fork Valley in the summertime. Its renowned hot springs and vapor caves offer visitors a therapeutic and original experience. The downtown section of Glenwood is bustling with small boutiques and cafés.
