I find that I sound like I'm gloating every time I talk about the joys of being a home based travel agent. It seems almost unfair to some people that I do what I do, enjoy it, and make money doing it. Even worse to them, is that not only do I love the work, I love the benefits of becoming a travel agent.

As a home based travel agent, I answer to myself. Working with Global Travel International, I have to be self-motivated to make money. If I tell myself I need to make a certain amount of money a month to live, then I have to make that money. It's hard to focus sometimes, but all I have to do is imagine the perks and the little effort it actually takes me to make the money and I call up some clients.

Being A Home Based Travel Agent
The best thing about the work that I do is that I am finally doing something that I dreamt of doing for a long time. I look around and wonder how many people can actually say that. I'm having fun, I'm still supporting my family, and I get to travel more than I ever imagined I'd be able to.

Becoming a travel agent wasn't actually the goal for my career. Once I was able to figure out how to work as a travel agent from my home, I was satisfied. As a home based travel agent, my schedule is flexible and I can pursue other passions. I no longer feel stressed and my relationship with my family is so much better because of the ease of the job.
