You don't have to be one of these people who get stuck in traffic each and everyday. Many people have been stuck in traffic so often, they don't know any way around it. Traffic becomes part of the normal day ... This is just a ridiculous way to live!

A Los Angeles traffic jam can be caused by many different things. This city attracts many tourists throughout the year. Tourism is wonderful but can slow things down on the highways. Tourists do not know where they are going. They are obviously not from the city of Los Angeles. They can slow down traffic immensely and when this happens a jam can occur.

Los Angeles Traffic Jams and Accidents
Accidents are another main cause of traffic jams. This will slow up any highway in any large city. The most annoying aspect of an accident is the people who slow down, when driving by, and look at the accident. This jams up all the cars behind the accident. The worst part is, the people who eventually get to the site of the accident slow down to take a look! It is just one vicious cycle.

If you are like me and hate this entire "accident cycle" you will try to avoid the accident site. I feel sorry for people who wreck their vehicles but there is nothing that I can really do to help the situation. If anything I will speed up and not look, just to help traffic pick up. Now we can all check a live traffic update to avoid such jams on the road. It really is the safest and most effective way to get from one place to another.
