If you are looking for a vacation rental, you are probably tired of hotels: the crowded pools, the tons of tourists, the same restaurants you could be eating at back home. You are looking for something more private, and off the beaten track. A private house, or condo, or suite at a private resort sounds great.

So you look in the time share classifieds, and you see vacation rentals all over the world. Vacation rentals in France, in Japan, in Switzerland, in the Bahamas, or down near Orlando, FL. You see the dates that are available for timeshare rental. You make note of what's available when, and start strategizing your vacation.

Your Vacation Rental: Planning in Advance
So lets say that there's a three-bedroom bungalow in Costa Rica, on the first week in November. It's right by the ocean, far from the big resorts, and much closer to where the locals like to party. This sounds like exactly how you'd like to spend a week this year.

So you contact the folks who placed the ad, and work out the details. You pay them for the privilege of staying in their beautiful bungalow. The money you pay allows them to keep that bungalow going for another year. Everybody wins, when everybody plays fair in the game of vacation rental.
