Timesharing is a huge responsibility, both to yourself, your property, and your partners. It can also be incredibly rewarding. If you love the property you've invested in--and are the kind of person who really makes use of it--then it can be a source of great joy, and the foundation for years of beautiful memories.
Timesharing can also be an enormous expensive, ultimately crushing burden (responsibility, as always, is a twin-edged sword). Even worse, if you never take the time to enjoy it, it can be a hideous waste. This is entirely dependent on how you handle the process, and integrate it into your life.
The Joys and Perils of Timesharing
If you love building, and belonging to, a community of like-minded pleasure-seekers from around the world, you will probably love timesharing. You have the chance to meet people from every corner of the globe, many of them timeshare owners as well. You will be able to work out relationships with them, by which you get to exchange vacation hotspots. Perhaps you can even meet to party at the same place.
If, however, you are a loner who doesn't like to interact with others, even over the Internet, then timesharing may not be for you. The social aspect is one of the most significant ones, both in terms of business contacts and persona enrichment. I think it's safe to say that timesharing is not for everyone; but for thousands and thousands of happy timesharers, it's a wonderful way of life.
