I recently had the opportunity to travel to Dallas and was and was pleasantly surprised by what I found. One might think of Dallas as being a big city, stuck in the midst of the hustle and bustle of everyday life, but there are actually many places you can go to relieve yourself from these daily stresses.

In the middle of the city there are numerous spa hotels that offer you a chance to get away from it all--no matter if you live there or are on vacation. For instance, there are day packages, overnight packages, and weekend spa packages available at most of these lavish hotels.

I myself opted for a full spa day at the Hotel Crescent Court. Since I was already staying at the hotel, I didn't need to travel far. I began with an hour long facial, moved onto a massage, took a break for lunch, and then finished with a manicure. I felt as if I were on a vacation at a spa in a faraway village. I left that day feeling rejuvenated.

For whatever reason, you may decide to venture out and treat yourself or a loved one to a day of relaxation. Just remember that Dallas has an array of great options that will exhilarate your mind, body, and spirit. After a trip to one of the city's spa hotels, you are sure to leave feeling like you were on a week-long vacation.
