You do not have to spend a ton of money on spring break trips to have a great time. If funds are an issue, you have a couple of options. If you tend not to worry about the future too much, you can apply for a new credit card and just deal with it later.

For most people that does not sound too appealing. The other option is to find a place that is not to far away, cheaper, and then convince all your friends to go. My favorite spring break out of them all ended up being the one I spent the least amount of money on, because more people I know were able to go.

Also, try and pick a destination that is not known to be really expensive, that can make a huge difference.

I would also try and find a place that is not too far away. Plane tickets are usually a large part of the trip expense. Its also probably best not to stay in the nicest hotel possible, and it probably won't make that much of a difference. Follow these simple tips and you will be able to have a great spring break without breaking your bank account.
