There are plenty of places on the web that can assist you with your spring break travel plans. If you wanted to, you could probably plan every moment of the trip to a destination that you have never been to before. Of course, I doubt your friends will enjoy that very much.

Or if you prefer to just follow the crowds and take it as it comes, that is fine too, but do not be upset if you didn't get what you expected.
If you have really elaborate plans, it can be quite advantageous. First you get to tell all your friends who choose not to go on spring break , exactly how much they will be missing out. Also, it will serve as motivation for you to actually make it through classes because you will know what is waiting for you.
