Planning a Nassau, Bahamas vacation would put you right in the best spot of the Bahamas. The capital of Nassau is located on the flagship island of New Providence. The ancient city has many historical landmarks, such as ancient forts and an old statue of Queen Victoria.
If you are planning the trip during spring break, my guess is that you will not be too interested in the history of the city. You probably just want to hit the beach till evening and get ready for a fun filled night. If you do decide to take a break from the beach scene, perhaps while recovering from a long night, you might want to actually go explore this amazing city.

If you are a big shopper, or just want to bring back souvenirs for friends, you have to go check out the famous straw market. It is located in the hub of the city and is lined with duty-free shops. Yep, that is right, no taxes or tariffs at these places.
Of course, if you are like me, you won't think about buying things till the last day, just to make sure you do not run out of money ... or go over your credit limit. If all you want to do kick back on the beach and party, a Nassau, Bahamas vacation will not disappoint you. This great city has an amazing party scene and it would be impossible to describe what goes on there on a simple web page.
