High School Senior Trips

Senior trips are what we all remember twenty years down the road when we return to our high school reunions. We remember the nights out laughing with our friends, the wonderful moments we spent with our first loves, and the songs we danced to all night long. Whether it was in the '70s, '80s, '90s or earlier, every generation understands the bonds and friendships that helped to make its high school senior trips memorable.

Planning High School Senior Trips
The first thing to take into consideration with any school trip is cost. If your school was able to raise a significant amount of money with various fundraising strategies, then the trip planner will have many more options. Fundraising could mean the difference between a trip to Mexico and a camping trip to the local mountains. The local mountains might be fun, but Mexico is going to be a trip that nobody will soon forget.

High school senior trips begin at the fundraising level. There are numerous organized fundraising strategies, and many organizations exist to help schools, and themselves, market and sell in order to help pay for a dance or a school trip. Fundraising also exists in the form of grassroots projects and activities. A good old fashioned car wash might be just what the doctor ordered if marketed and advertised correctly. Bake sales and auctions are also time-tested methods to raise money.

However, if a school is looking to make a good amount of money for a large senior class, then the students are going to have to employ some strategies with higher returns on investment. A school can set up a website that can sell various items, including packaged goods, class materials, and home and garden items. They will receive a percentage of the sales from whatever company that they partner with on this venture. If the website offers items that are necessary everyday items, then many parents, friends, and students will be shopping on the website rather then at the local market. Over an entire school year, this can raise a significant amount of money.
