As we’ve said before, there are many Sedona, Arizona lodging choices. Where you choose to stay should depend entirely on what type of person you are, and what type of vacation you are planning. If you are interested in taking a nice, relaxing, pampered vacation, for instance, you should stay at one of Sedona’s many world renowned spa resorts. Or for a more quaint and romantic stay, we recommend you look into finding a Sedona, Arizona B&B. Regardless of what Sedona accommodation you choose, however, you should definitely think about spending a night or so in the great outdoors.

The Best Sedona Accomodations:
In our opinion, you positively cannot take a vacation in Sedona without camping outdoors for at least one night. Although most Sedona accommodations are delightfully appointed, nothing can compare to sleeping under the beautiful Sedona sky. Whether it’s just you and a loved one sharing a tent, or you choose to take a camping retreat with one of Sedona’s many highly qualified camping guides, the experience of camping outdoors in Sedona is one that you will never forget!

Of course, we understand that many individuals are not the “outdoorsy” types. Trust us when we tell you that we completely sympathize! As we’ve said before, we (my husband and I) are anything but outdoorsy, and yet we positively adore spending a couple of nights camping out. What we recommend (especially for those not used to “living off the land”), is for you to book your stay at a contemporary Sedona accommodation, and then spend a few nights outdoors whenever the idea suits you. This way, you don’t have to take all of your luggage with you, and you have a “safe house” to which you can return if you find you don’t like camping outdoors.
