One of our favorite things about Sedona, Arizona is the fact that there are so many unique things to do and see. Sedona is a very mystical town with lots of peculiar haunts and mysterious spots. If you are going to Sedona, we strongly recommend that you visit some of these places. One that we prefer is Bell Rock. A popular attraction for locals and tourists alike, Bell Rock is one of Sedona’s “vortex†spots, and is said to have mystical healing powers. We’re not sure whether that is true, but we can tell you that the area around Bell Rock “feels†different. It is difficult to put into words, only to say that the energy seems to change the closer you get to Bell Rock. Hike it for yourself and see what we mean.
Another one of our favorite Sedona, Arizona, spots is Boynton Canyon. Another of Sedona’s mysterious places, Boynton Canyon is considered sacred by Yavapai Indians. Many hikers claimed to have seen an old man with long white hair appear and disappear among the rocks of the canyon. Sedona locals claim this man is a guardian spirit sent to protect the purity of Boynton Canyon. Whether this is true remains to be seen. We can tell you, however, that the experience of hiking through Boynton Canyon is unlike anything you’ve ever known. Once again, the “energy†in the area is very much alive. Everyone’s experience is different, so you should definitely go and check it out for yourself.
