Located six miles west of the center of Lima, the airport provides ground transportation into the city, and information regarding hotels in the Capital city, as well as nearby tourist sites and cities (you may want to travel Cusco Peru, an ancient Incan city!).
The Jorge Chavez International Airport (Jorge Chavez Aeropuerto) offers most modern airport amenities, with local banks and money exchanges to handle foreign money and dispense "Nuevo Sol" (the local currency) in convenient ATM's. Bi-linugal peronnel are on duty in two Information Booths about the termingals to answer any questions regarding currency in Peru.

On the mezzanine level, international terminal, there are several restaurants and eating facilities. Also, a 24 hour a day emergency medical service, with ambulance transport and a small pharmacy, is available on the mezzanine in case of an emergency.
For all International passengers, there is a duty free gift shop located near the Customs lounge, to purchase any forgotten toiletries or supplies. Other booths and small shops sell magazines, cigarettes, and other items for your comfort.
