This particular ski resort has had many honors over the years and in 2002 was host to some of the Winter Olympic games. The games that occurred at this site included Slalom, Mogul and Aerial competitions where the best matched skills against one another.

People who are trying out skiing for the first time or others who want to progress from an intermediate to an advanced level can attend Deer Valley Utah skiing classes. Classes are taught by people who are experts in their field and have experience teaching others all of the skills and abilities they will need. Many of these people work at the Deer Valley ski resort year after year and have taught hundreds, even thousands how to ski.

This resort features ski lessons for children between the ages of 3 and 12 with names like the Reindeer Club, Adventure Club and Bambi Special. There is a special Ladies Only Clinic taught by female instructors. When it comes to instruction, there is something for everyone.
