In 1981, Deer Valley Resort first opened its doors, instantly becoming a favorite destination of fun seekers from all over the world. Boasting a variety of ski terrains encompassing four different peaks, this is a skier's dream. With amenities like private hot tubs and fireplaces, it's also a paradise for those that just want a romantic getaway in mountain paradise.
Deer Valley Resort: An Olympian's Home
For the 2002 Winter Olympics, Deer Valley Resort was proud to be the location of many of the games signature events. Continuing that tradition, in 2003 it was the site of the FIS Freestyle World Championships. As you ski down the mountain, you may very well be following the same path taken by a gold medalist.
The readers of Ski Magazine recently rated Deer Valley Resort the #1 destination for skiers in North America. It's also rated #1 in the area of food and service. It's fairly clear that this resort takes the business of creating the perfect Utah ski vacation pretty seriously.
Every hour, thousands of Deer Valley Resort's guests make their way up the mountain on the multitude of lifts. On the ride up, they're treated to the best view Utah has to offer, and on the way down they are treated to some of the best snow nature and man can provide. State of the art snow making equipment guarantees that when you want to ski, conditions will be perfect. Of course, that doesn't mean you might not fall down once in a while, but hey, that's part of the fun.
