Staying in a Paris Cheap Hotel
I'm not a rich guy by any stretch of the imagination, so when I went to France, I made sure that I stayed at a Paris cheap hotel. I think even if I did have a lot of money, I wouldn't go around wasting it on fancy hotels when I don't need to. The only thing I'm doing there is sleeping and showering!
I think a lot of people stay in Paris 4 star hotels over a Paris cheap hotel because it's a status symbol for them. They like to walk out of the hotel and think that people are looking at them thinking they must be a celebrity or something like that. People that shallow just aren't for me, and I'm not like them.
Why Stay In a Budget Hotel?
I like to stay in budget hotels over fancy ones because the fancy ones have a lot of amenities that I don't even use. Sure they have hot tubs, pools, gyms, saunas and bars in the hotel, but what's the point of visiting a new country when you're going to waste all your time hanging out inside of the hotel?
That's why I stay in a cheaper hotel. It kind of makes you want to get out of there and go exploring. I ended up finding many nice little cafes and restaurants in Paris that I may not have discovered if I was hanging out back at the hotel in the hot tub or drinking fine wine in the hotel bar. Yes sir, cheap hotels are the way to go!
